AEK manager Gus Poyet was pleased as AEK took a point in the away derby at Leoforos against Panathinaikos.
Poyet made his debut as AEK manager and straight after the game he acknowledged that the result is fair congratulating his players for the effort they put in.
“It was a good experience. I fancied our display in the first half. Panathinaikos improved after the break and that made us to change our tactics. Cordero helped us to gain some accuracy in passing. The game could have been decided to one goal. None scored it, so we got a stalemate,” Poyet underlined.
