The Uruguayan manager was presented by Dusan Bajevic, Branko Milovanovic was present too. In a brief speech to the players, the new AEK manager talked about his decision to come to Greece, and set Sunday’s derby against Panathinaikos as a target.
"Our goal is to win all the games; we must always bear that in mind. I know that I did not come to AEK Athens for the money; if I wanted to get rich I would have gone elsewhere, I would go to Qatar. I came to AEK to make a career, to accomplish things. The most important thing for me is the discipline and I want that everywhere, in the training, in the games, everywhere.”
"We have before us an important game, we don’t have many days to work on it, but I believe a lot in the team, I have seen, I have seen your games and I believe in you. We need to get the win for us to make a dynamic start."
