Specifically, the letter by the President of EPO, Giorgos Gkirtzikis to the president of Super League, Giorgos Borovilos, in response to the previous letter Panathinaikos FC sent to the Federation:
"We disclose Panathinaikos FC announcement and declare our indignation and our zero tolerance to such immoral and unacceptable actions.
We expect your actions as the responsible governing body, taking all legal actions against the club- member. This club, violating and circumventing the commitments based on the existing regulations, faithfully serving a strategy of intimidation, threats and slander towards the administration of EPO. It is now certain that Panathinaikos FC seeks preferential treatment by the institutions over the other members of your Association.
The Greek Football Federation will not be blackmailed nor will accept threats, interventions and recommendations with the pretext of the "cleansing". These practices have communication purposes, undermining the credibility of Greek football and create intimidation inside and outside football grounds.
Finally, and in response to this letter, we urge you to make clear to all your members, that the Greek Football Association, will not tolerance for such actions. "
