To a revelation equal to a Megaton bomb that creates the biggest scandal, the German Football has witnessed after the famous case of fixed games, back in the 70’s. According to the article which will be published on Saturday, Germany “bought” the 2006 World Cup and through “dark” funding was able of buying the votes needed.
Behind this unbelievable story is the former Adidas owner Robert Louis Dreyfus (Passed away) who “lent” the German Committee responsible for the bid 6.7 million Euro. President of the Committee Mr Franz Beckenbauer was informed as was the President of the German Federation Mr. Wolfgang Niersbachin order for specific members of the committee to be bribed.
Spiegel magazine claims that the vote of four Asian was bought with that money. Germany won the 2000 voting against S. Africa (12 – 10 votes).
Spiegel also claims that the dirty money was returned to Dreyfus (in a Swiss Bank account)were the sender was the committee responsible for the German World Cup. The excuse was a gala that took place in the Olympic Stadium of Berlin (never happened)…
The German Federation through a public statement denies the claims and commented that the 6,7 million Euro given out on 2005 through the German World Cup Committee responsible for various “artistic” happenings. The federation said that will claim the money back from FIFA!
Neither Franz Beckenbauer nor any other member of the Committee made any comments on the questions made by Spiegel. Three out of the four Asian members described the accusations not worthy to be commented upon.
