"Not winning the match was disappointing. We fought hard. We have to learn from our turnovers and improve as a team. We will become better and gain more experiences. I had a performance like this in college. My performance came from offence and team effort. My teammates found me when I was open. We exploited the defensive weaknesses. I performed this way in my junior season in the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee against Cleveland State. I could score the open shots and in such games you feel the chance to burry every shot you take" Meier said.
"My teammates told me that I played well and were happy with me. We talked about what we should improve. We want to focus on our turnovers. My role is to play my game. I should use my ability to pick'n'roll and post on the offence. The most important thing is to control the opponents and grab the rebounds" he said.
"We want to improve as a team and be competitive. We wish to know what we have done by the end of the season and I want to help the team and play as hard as possible. I am excited with the Basket League. To play against top clubs is like pushing yourself to the limit. I am glad to play against the best" Meier said.
