Kontonis was present at the "G. Kasimatis" hall in OAKA. "I would like to say that this space should remain accessible and functional and we make a huge try to stop impunity to some who treat these spaces without paying what they must. OAKA administration and the Ministry of Sports make a huge effort for the money to be collected owed by business actions and individuals. We received debts at OAKA of 13 million euros, money that belongs to the Greek people and that should be exploited for the benefit of Greek youth and Sports. We are pressed and threatened in order to do what those before us did. To close our eyes and let the debts either to be barred or never claimed. We will do what our concience and our duty says and we will deliver a better Sports Centre after four years" said Kontonis.
