"We have many new faces this season ad we want to be in the best possible form. AEK are a powerful team with a powerful roster and they are approaching Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. They have players with quality and a good whole. It's gonna be a tough game but with our fans support we will increase our possibilities for a positive result. We don't know AEK very well. Anosike replaced Orton, Kalampokis returned to the team, I don't know what's going on with Sakota and Katsivelis will surely not play. The have a deep roster and they won't be affected by absences. The way we perform is the most important thing" said Priftis.
When asked about what changes his team must make, the Greek coach answered: "We have to be consistent in some sections of the game and don't make mistakes against any opponent. We have to secure the rebounds, the assists, play 1on1 and don't let the opponent create. It's how soon we will be able to adapt on every game. We have done a great job. We are on a good level. We have a long way to go though and we must be humble".
Coach Priftis was asked about the new players from abroad: "Their mentality has been prepared reasonably. They understand the city's palm and rhythm, and the demand for wins. We don't press them to much in order not to make them nervous. We want them to play their game and together with the fans to perform and be efficient".
About the club's calendar, Priftis said: "The program is tough. We have consecutive games. We have to handle it and give our best".
