The Greek international feels that he quits football at the right time, proud for what he achieved in his career.
“I ended my career with the way I wanted to. I leave with the head held high. I have regretted nothing in my career. I didn't suffer any serious injuries and I had success with the club I played for. I made around 755 appearances in my career, I enjoyed football at the top level and I played under some fantastic managers. The best achievement was winning the Euro 2004 with the Greek National Team and the appearances with Greece in the World Cups,” Katsouranis told Goal newspaper.
