"In Italy they tend to target the domestic market and it is reasonable for a team that wants a goalkeeper to make a move on a player of other team. Eventually, I stayed at Udineze and renewed my contract for 4 years. It was a bit odd at the beginning and I wanted to know why they are so famous. They have people who work all day long with players that have been offered to the team. They have brought young players and sold them later for a bigger price" the 27-year-old goalkeeper said.
About the new manager: "Working with a club is totally different from working with the national team. He has to adapt on our culture. They have great respect and they want their players to play, something that forces you to work harder".
About National team: "We don't appreciate something until we lose it. I think that Vougioukas's tweet was inappropriate. We await Federation's decision about the manager. The elimination cost to everyone but we should learn from this experience. We should use a success as a guide not a failure. We need a respected manager who will be able to face 23 players that are able to compete. He has to gain the respect through his talking and his behaviour".
